Merryfold World
A place for what you make with our pages. Not open yet, and we would rather say so.
What it is for
The most interesting thing that happens to our drawings happens after they leave. People colour them in ways we did not plan, frame them, give them away, put them on walls. There is currently nowhere to show that, and a tag on somebody else's platform is not the same as a place of your own.
merryfold.world will be that place: finished pages, the design they started from, and the person who made them, credited.
Why it is not open
Because a gallery anyone can upload to needs moderation before it needs features, and we are two people. Opening it badly would be worse than opening it late.
What will be true when it opens
- You keep the copyright in what you make. We ask permission to show it, each time, and you can withdraw it.
- Nothing uploaded is used in advertising without a separate, explicit yes.
- No uploads from children's accounts, and no faces required.
- Credit by the name you choose, with a link if you want one.
