This family exists for a specific reader: someone whose hands are not steady, or whose eyes are tired, or who is eight. Every line is at least four times the weight of our intricate families, every enclosed field is wide enough for an adult marker without bleeding into its neighbour, and there is no detail that needs a fine liner to reach. It is the hardest brief we draw to, because "simple" is not the same as "empty" — a bold design still has to be worth the twenty minutes someone spends colouring it. The test we use is whether the finished page still reads as a composition from across a room.
